Founded in 1947, Cyprus Airways proudly served as our national symbol for nearly seven decades. After a brief pause, the airline was reborn in 2016 under Charlie Airlines, and since 2022 has been fully owned by Arcosjet—ushering in a new era of growth and innovation.
Today, with a dedicated team of 150+ professionals, we carry over 400,000 passengers annually to 19+ destinations. Certified by IATA for operational safety and proud member of the European Regions Airline Association (ERA), we uphold the highest standards while championing regional connectivity and sustainability. Operations Commence
Air Operator Certificate obtained and commercial flights begin from Larnaca, reconnecting Cyprus with key destinations.
IATA & IOSA
Successfully passes the IATA Operational Safety Audit (IOSA) and joins IATA, aligning with global aviation safety and quality standards.
New Investment
Arcosjet acquires a portion of Cyprus Airways shares and later full ownership in 2022, strengthening the airline’s capital base and long-term vision.
